The Food Futures Flagship is one of nine National Research Flagships established by CSIRO to deliver scientific solutions to advance Australia’s most pressing national objectives. The National Research Flagships Program is one of the largest scientific research endeavours ever undertaken in Australia.
The CSIRO Flagships are focused on impact and adoption and are committed to delivering research solutions that target clearly defined goals.
The Food Futures Flagship aims to transform the international competitiveness of the Australian agrifood sector, adding $3 billion annually, by applying frontier technologies to high potential industries.
